Reflection 
Experience 
In the study of this course, I can not only skillfully use AI and ID software for font design and typesetting design, but also have a strong interest in typesetting and language/words, so it is very exciting for me to learn how to better express words through typesetting. I have always maintained a strong interest in design and the art field in general. Although my expectations for this course were not clear at the beginning, I am grateful that my experience this semester did not disappoint me, although it was not smooth sailing either. I met a lot of difficulties at the beginning, but with the help of my tutor, I made some progress. I am grateful for his help, which enabled me to overcome difficulties and gradually improve my grades. Through the study of this course, I believe that I will become an excellent font and typesetting designer and be able to convey a better sense of art and expression effect to my design works.

Observations
In the study of this semester, I have deeply realized the importance of typography in graphic design. Through research and practice, I realized that typography is not only the layout and presentation of text, but also an art form to convey information and express intentions. I learned how to choose the right font, adjust the spacing of lines and kerning, and use contrast and layering to enhance visual effects. These techniques make my designs more compelling and easy to read.

In addition to the technical study, I also have a deep understanding of the differences between Chinese and Western cultures. By observing the typographic styles and design principles of different cultures, I have discovered many subtle but important differences. Chinese and Western cultures have unique characteristics in the use of color, graphic symbols and visual language, which also affects the designer's decision-making and creation methods in typesetting. I learned to better understand and integrate these cultural differences in order to convey the appropriate mood and message in my design works.

Through this semester's study, I have not only improved my typography skills, but also gained a deeper understanding of the differences between Chinese and Western cultures. This will enable me to become a more well-rounded and insightful designer, able to create more impactful and engaging works in the field of cross-cultural design.

Findings 
After studying typesetting carefully, I found myself observing the connotation of each design work more carefully. I began to pay attention to the choice of fonts, the adjustment of word spacing and the details of typography in different works. I've come to realize that different moods require different fonts and typography to achieve the best results.

Through careful observation of the works, I began to understand the importance of typography and typography for expressing and conveying information. Each font has its own unique characteristics and emotional expression ability, and the adjustment of word spacing can affect the fluency and visual effect of reading. These subtle design choices can give a different atmosphere and mood to the work.

My observation of the works also makes me appreciate the designers' creativity and artistic expression ability more. They are able to perfectly present the theme and emotion of the work through the right font and typography skills. I began to learn to understand and appreciate each design work on a deeper level, and to think about the design decisions and intentions behind them.

Through the study of this course, I not only learned the technical skills of typesetting, but more importantly, I cultivated my sensitivity and understanding of the details of works. This enables me to choose the appropriate fonts and typesetting methods more accurately in my future design practice, so as to create design works with more connotation and significance.
