In this semester, I chose the topic of major project first. My original topic was the zodiac, but I couldn't combine the zodiac with some other content. So in the third week, I made the final decision on my topic.

My new topic is emotion dessert station. The brand is called Honey Talk and my inspiration comes from myself and my friends around me. When we are happy or sad, we will choose to eat dessert, and we will get satisfaction and happiness after eating dessert. Due to the increasing pressure at this stage, there are more and more dessert shops. I want to promote my brand through the purpose of eating emotions and troubles.

After determining my theme, I started branding.

I also did some logo and brand IP. But after first presentation, I got some feedback, I try to make the logo and IP more happy.

When I get feedback, I redo the logo first. Cause the brand named HONEY TALK, I used the cheese honey cake to be the main logo character.

After redo the logo and brand IP, I try to do the packaging. I planed to do a type of bag and type of cake box.

After finishing the packaging, I began to make posters, business cards and some peripheral products.

After the business card, i designed the voucher, and the back is a postcard. After used the voucher, customers can keep the brand postcard, then send it to friends, so anther people will know our brand.

Reflection

In this semester, I made use of all the knowledge I had learned in the past three years to carry out a major project. My theme is brand design, packaging design. In the early design, I used all the knowledge I learned during the study period. In the process of knowledge blending, I felt an unprecedented feeling, and in the continuous innovation, I felt self-improvement.

At the same time, in the process of this project, I better understand the importance of some knowledge, and even learn the technology of tablet painting. I try my best to innovate and express my ideas through design. I enjoy the process, especially when I see the products I have designed.

This is the last course I studied in school, and I found that I learned a lot of content, but I still need to continue learning in the process of carrying out the project. I think I still need to continue learning in the future, so that my works can meet my expectations.

In the process of learning, I also appreciate the encouragement of my mentor. With the encouragement of my mentor, I became more confident in my project and made it more perfect.

The study of the last course is a full stop for me in my college life. I am also very grateful to myself for trying to make a successful end to my college life. This is not only my self-improvement, but also a new chapter for my future life.

I will continue to surpass myself through my own efforts, not to deceive myself and others, everything is made by myself. Frighting！
