Collage style

After that, I found collage style in Pinterest. I think I can try this one. Seem easy.

IDEA EXPLORATION & DESCRIPTION

I have been away from my hometown ningxia for a year and a half, and I cannot go back because of the epidemic. My hometown is located in the northwest of China, there is a mysterious desert, where I live is also known as the "Top of the Yangtze River", there are seventy-two connected lakes.So the first moment I saw this topic, I thought of my hometown.

At first I tried using watercolor markers, but the results were not as good as expected. In the initial draft and expectation, I wanted to make the landmark building of Yinchuan, "Phoenix Monument".

In my memory of home, the warmest place is my grandma's house. I lived there since my childhood, because my parents were very busy with their work, I chased butterflies in the yard of my grandmother's house, watered flowers, picked fruits in autumn, and made snowmen in winter. Peach trees and magnolia trees in the yard witnessed my growth, and the gate of the yard is the switch to open my memories.

I had a hard time choosing the photos. Because there are so many photos that can't all be included in the work. I chose a few of the most representative ones.

The work of the island should be selected, and the whole picture of the island should be more clearly displayed. But I haven't ues it.

Reflection 

In this assignment, I found that I can use another way to complete the work, not limited to painting. I think collage style is a good way to express.
